STREAM B : PROJECT PROPOSAL FOR INNOVATIVE PROJECTS

 

KSCST invites project proposals from the final year engineering students for sponsorship, under the 42nd series of Student Project Programme under Stream B :

Stream B : KSCST has identified the following projects / Problem Statement for the student's project proposal for an Innovative Projects :

  • Remote controlled rolling display synchronized with traffic lights

  • Real-time power controller

  • Serial data logger with remote data access

  • Android based mobile phone to work as a hearing aid for the hearing disabled

  • A camera based power-line inspection system for BESCOM workers

  • Development of the Energy Management System (EMS) for using the Solar PV Power without battery bank for smart grid and livelihood applications

  • Device to alert and prevent theft of sandal wood trees in forest area

  • Automatic detection of violent incidents from video footage of CCTV cameras

  • Smart trash can which can detect plastic bottle deposited and collect data on dashboard

  • Machine Learning powered AI Chat Bot for tracking Mental Health

  • Convert Waste plastic to 3D printing Raw Material

  • Brain-computer interface (BCI) technology

  • Biological signal processing for Workload assessments & sleep studies

  • Technology for elderly people & differently abled persons

  • Large area surveillance system

  • Developing condition monitoring techniques

  • Self-powered electronics system for emergency conditions like a flood, war, earthquake etc.

  • GPS based system for understanding traffic monitoring in cosmopolitan cities

  • Developing Science models for High School Students

  • Bio-energy Devices

  • Drone Applications

Guidelines and Instructions for filling up the project proposal

 

After sending the filled project proposal to KSCST, it is mandatory to fill the google form about the project information by Project Team leader and submit without fail. (Note : Photocopy of the filled project proposal to be kept ready for filling the Google form)

Evaluation of Projects at Nodal Centre and selection of projects for Seminar / Exhibition

May - June 2019

2 Pages synopsis and Final Project Report submission along with softcopy in a CD and by Email (spp@kscst.iisc.ernet.in)

20th June 2019

Seminar and Exhibition of selected projects

Last week of July 2019 or
